Who we are

Assisted Living UK is a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, contactable at theteam@customersupport.care.

What personal data we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and the products you ordered. When you contact us we collect the details you provide so we can respond. When you browse the site we collect technical data such as your IP address and browser type, and, with your consent, analytics data about how the site is used.

Why we collect it and our lawful bases

We use your data to fulfil your order and deliver your products (performance of a contract), to provide customer support and handle returns (performance of a contract and legitimate interests), to keep order and transaction records (legal obligation), and to measure and improve the site (your consent, where analytics cookies are used).

Payment data

Card payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number. The providers' own privacy policies apply to their processing.

Cookies and analytics

We use local storage to keep your cart and your cookie preference. Optional analytics (Google Analytics) runs only after you accept analytics cookies, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). See our Cookie Policy for details.

Who we share data with

We share order and delivery details with the carriers and fulfilment partners who deliver your order, and with service providers who operate this website and our email systems. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support correspondence is kept while it is needed to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact theteam@customersupport.care. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
