About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and your purchases from Assisted Living UK, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. By accessing, browsing or ordering from this site you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

Orders and contract

When you place an order you make an offer to buy the products at the prices shown. A contract is formed when we accept your order by dispatching the products or confirming acceptance by email. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a product is unavailable or a price was displayed in error, and will refund any payment taken.

Product information

We work to keep product descriptions, measurements and images accurate. Check each product's dimensions, instructions and suitability for your circumstances before use, and contact us if a detail is unclear.

Delivery

Delivery is within the United Kingdom. The published estimate is 5 to 7 days, plus 24 to 48 hours for order handling and processing. See our Shipping & Delivery page for current charges, including the free standard delivery threshold and the express option.

Returns and cancellations

Our Refunds & Returns policy sets out the 15 day change-of-mind window, the process for damaged or incorrect goods, and cancellation before dispatch. Your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are not affected by anything in these terms.

Acceptable use

You must not upload or transmit through this site any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or infringes any third party's rights, nor any harmful code. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.

Accounts

If we issue you an account or password, keep it confidential. You are responsible for activity under your credentials.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amounts stated in our Limited Liability & Indemnity page.

Changes

We may update this site and these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you order apply to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also rely on their local courts and mandatory local law.
